Brilliance Academy utilizes text messaging to maintain clear, efficient, and timely communication with our families, staff, and community members.

1. Purpose & Scope of Messages

By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive text messages from Brilliance Academy for Customer Support and Conversational purposes. These messages include, but are not limited to:

  • School closure alerts and weather updates

  • Calendar reminders and event announcements

  • Direct conversational support regarding enrollment, student updates, or admissions inquiries

Brilliance Academy is committed to protecting your data privacy.

  • No Third-Party Sharing: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

  • Opt-In Exclusion: All categories mentioned in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.

  • Opt-Out Instructions: You can opt out of receiving further text messages from us at any time. To stop receiving messages, simply reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. After texting STOP, you will receive one final confirmation text, and no further messages will be sent.

  • Help Instructions: If you experience issues or need assistance, you can request help at any time by replying HELP to any text message, or by emailing us directly at admin@brilliance-academy.org.

  • Frequency and Costs: Message frequency varies based on school events and direct conversational interactions. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

Rights of Students with Disabilities Brilliance Academy adheres to all rights of students with disabilities. BA acknowledges that pursuant to 1002.421(1)(j), Florida Statutes, parentally placedprivate school students with disabilities do not have individual rights to receive some orall of the special education and related services that said students would receive ifenrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA),as amended.
